I guess that depends on what you mean by "Best".

I know a few people that feel that Xrummer and PRStorm are the best linkbuilding tools out there...

...but those might not be for you if you don't swing towards the dark side.

egarding the affiliate stuff, I've gone down that road more times than I can count. Now I'd say if it fits with your content perfectly, great. If not, don't bother because with 2% click-thru from your site and 1% conversion to sales from those people, you are not going to do much unless you are serving 500,000 pages a month or more. That said, the Amazon Mr. Rat Script is great, because you will get a few sales, and, believe it or not, Google actually crawls a lot of those dynamic pages and increases your saturation presence in the index. I have 2,000 actual pages on one site and almost 20,000 pages in the Google index because of the Mr. Rat Amazon product feed script. It's also showing up with 1sies and 2sies in the origin results from the search engines for 232 countries, which accounts for more than 10,000 visitors a month. (I could care less if anyone ever bought a book, but they do.)

my opinion there is no such a thing... you need to do manual submission at some point.
e.g. you can automate article submission, blog submission, Rss feed submission but not directories submission. You can have software to do link exchange and send link request to webmaster but most people will not read your emails.. so there are really no such a thing

I agree . You need to do a bit of everything. I use Linkvana as well as manual article submissions. I have written a brief review below of Linkvana and I will add other reviews as I try them.

              Hey Mike,

              Thanks for the shout out.

Using Fran Murrays automation - you can hit 20-25 strategic sites and automatically upload media and content and links in such a way that - literally - in under < 5 min per site - you can place 10-15 links per site.

If you have many niche sites to promote or want to also backlink inner pages of your site [ deep link ] - this is a great tool for that.

Upload 3 pictures - 2 backlinks each, a blog post 3 backlinks [ easy ] a profile 1 link, and 3 favorite links .. all in one pass - just as you would if you were doing it and typing it all out by hand.

The best software to create the link is not software at all. If a link is not worth your time to build it manually, so not worth it for your site.

The answer is none. The value of backlinking is disappearing fast now that Google +1, FB likes and tweets are on the scene.

I have a site on page one for a keyword that has over one million competing sites. Almost no backlinks...but looks of "social votes."

Why? I have one highly authoritative, interesting and engaging blog posted every week. The blogs get picked up by Huffington post and other content delivery sites. They get FB likes and tweets and the tweets get retweeted...meanwhile, I do nothing but let the content do it's work over and over and over.

I've tried all the backlinking software. Most of them didn't do squat...one of them caused my site to sink from page 2 to page 22 in three days.

Don't waste your money. Pick a topic you're passionate about, read about it a LOT and write about it a lot. Keep with books that are current and write about what other bloggers in your niche are writing about.

I think the wide array of answers here really illustrates the idea that there's no 'cure-all' for the best link building software. Some marketers choose to use automation software, some dont, and all have an opinion about which is better and why.

You could pay out the nose for software licenses, use it incorrectly and damage your rankings. You could use a no-name software, use it correctly and ethically and have great results. Or you could build all your links manually.

I personally perform SEO for my and my clients' sites. Some of the things I use which work best for me are a combination of UAW, AMR, SENukeX and this little known powerful tool called <a href="Directory Submission Software | Directory Submitter | Directory Submission Tool>SubmitEaze Directory Submission Software</a> which automatically submits to as many web directories and article directories as you want. Hope this helps.

Are these private domains on same ip ? As this would be too easy to just get templates sites up and link to your own sites.

I think that most link building can be manual but the emails managed. Certainly any software that finds the happy middle for me would help, these are sites that are likely to link to as they are not happy also . If these could be auto mailed a template then this would be something I would try.

I use monopolinks and have got some one way links from them and as it is manual google must see this as ok.

I have found nothing fast with manual link building, where is there management when a month later a site guy comes bac, i forgot what I sent him and where is his link etc, and who checks to see the links still active

      the things a tool needs
      1. identify sites (relevant likely sources of a link trade) and get emails
      2. template emails to send out mass to various (groups)
      3. management CRM style of replies
      4. Checking any links get removed then alert notification and blacklist webmasters doing this.
Also checking that the domain isnt recently purchased with a PR a scam where a PR is used in a new site created over an old domain that was let go for whatever reason they buy the doamain as it has rank and you think their site has rank so agree the trade, as soon as google see this spam site the rank will bottom out.

      I digress -

Im trying seomoz and I have to say I'm not impressed with the backlink tool none of the things I specifed. I might check wordtracker next.

Anyone know any specific backlink tool that does the points raised.

I'd use Scrapebox for now until BMR is back open for new registrations. SenukeX can get you into trouble if you don't know what you're doing. Even if you DO know what you're doing, it's a little too "spammy" for my tastes.
