  • Hi, I can say that after more than 12 try, the unique high quality software I found is Keyword Research Pro by Fabian Lim.

It's costly but really awesome for the included tools.

    Goodbye,

I don't know what stage of site building you are at but, here's something in addition to keyword tools.

As a webmaster you should always be using Google Analytics (it's Free) anyway, look at keywords that people are searching for that land on your site. (most of the time they are long tales that you may not have thought of) if the traffic is great enough, build a page for that LT-keyword.

In fact if you know what your doing, this is another way of getting a second page ranked for a similar keyword. Thus setting you up to become an authority site.

I have used this methord many times and it works like a charm. But, you do need to know what to look for and how to do it!

        Hope that helped a little!

    Google.com.

Yep, use Google.com and Google commands. Search a bit and use commands to search deep in niches.

    allintitle: allinurl:

    etc etc

Buy if you can afford it, buy Market Samurai (no affiliation), it's a damn powerful tool

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

If all you're doing is keyword research for long tail keywords, the keyword research features inside Market Samurai are free.

We don't make a cent out of keyword research itself

      Brent

Edit: The best resource for long tail keywords is Google's Search Based Keyword Tool.

      http://google.com/sktool/

It's one of the keyword sources that Market Samurai uses to generate keyword lists, and will give you 800 of the most commonly searched-for long tail keywords.

i use a combination of Free keyword research tool - Overture, Google, MSN keyword estimator and the google tool. it helps to generate the longtail keywords that i often use in writing articles that normally put my pages on the first page fo google for a compeitive keyword. after entering a word in spcaky, i normally check with google tool to be sure that the stats are right. i don't trust the stats given by spacky. check it out. and did i say IT IS FREE!

This tool spacky.com is very good, even for other languages as spanish.
I have used it sometimes with good results.

Do a search on Google for a keyword phrase. Then under "Show Options" you will find "Wonder Wheel". Click on that and it will give you other keyword phrases associated with your search keyword. Then you can click on one of those and the wheel goes on and on.

This doesn't really give you any keyword stats like the other tools but it does give you some additional ideas that you can pursue through your other stats tools.

  • If I give you a FREE HAMMER can you go build a house? It's not just the tool that matters it's knowing what to do with it. Google offers a suite of Keyword Tools for free but how many people take the time to really figure out how to use them?

Everyone wants FREE... I get it. But if you think logically you have to ask yourself why would someone sit down and spend so much time developing a free tool? Are they nuts? Are you creating your sites so that you can give things away?

Sharing is good, open source is good, but there is no such thing as FREE... someone somewhere is doing it for a profit. Follow the money path and you find your answers.

Google's Tools are FREE... and the money path is lead in to Adwords.
