Does finally link exchange-trade works?

It REALLY depends on the niches you trade links with, as well as how appealing your website looks. In addition to that, it also depends on where they have placed a link to you, and what kind of visitors THEY are getting.

You should keep your best content/offers etc. above the fold, and make it as appealing as possible.

If it's for your game site, you should keep the best games/most played/highest rankings clearly visible, and I would recommend you to have something special visible as well.

Also i'm waiting the google to crawl my site, but i didn't request it, i'm waiting to find it itself to make better rankings.

When people click on a link to your website they have some sort of expectation, if your landing page does not meet this expectation they will click away.

Treat your link exchanges in the same way you would adwords ads or classified ads - The text in the link exchange ad must be related to the page it points to.

To get it indexed, ping it at pingler.com. That will usually do the trick for me.

And by "Having something special" visible, I mean it will be great for your site if it's original in some way, as there are LOADS of gaming websites. Why should they use yours?

I've made it all on my own, no ready-made platforms, etc. So i'm trying to think about methods to make special things (eg i've made a fullscreen script) to have the "something special".

You are absolutely right, why should they prefer mine?

Well, i'm thinking to remove the google ads, as it doesn't bother me to make a profit (as and now with 100 visits/day i have no clicks) and maybe in the future construct my own affiliate and allow visitors to be advertised for a small amount of cash.
Now, i'm thinking methods to make reachier the website to offer more fun options, etc etc.

Obviously, the best is to work on SEO with the right keywords. Just takes time. Course sure you already know this

If you manage to rank well in Google for some of the most popular game titles, then I think you will get quite a lot of visitors.

As for monetization, there are many gaming websites that has a pop-up, and not a lot more. Then I think they get paid a fair amount per impression.

Also, having banners to free mmorpg games might do the trick? I've seen the bigger sites doing this. After all, you target market is gamers, so quite a few of them might click. ( I Actually think adsense ads will show this as well, if you have gaming keywords on your site)

But yeah, you won't make much from it in the beginning before you start to get more visitors. BUT I think you can have ads like the ones I mentioned does, as it actually looks good :p

And fizzy.com have an affiliate program. You can embed their games, and get commission whenever someone buys them. (Probably not that often, but it's more content, and it might happen)

And for the "making it special" part, I think many enjoy achievments etc. But I think that's hard to progam...

But you might run a referral competition if you have a membership availiable?

Better idea is to build the organic backlinks by commenting and posting in your niche so only those visitors will come who are really interested in your site...
