Pointing multiple domain names to main .com domain

Back when I registered my domain name, I purchased the .net and .org version as well. At that time, I just forwarded them to the main .com site instead of parking them.

Now I wonder, is this a bad idea as far as SEO and Google go?

    Google doesn't care.

Unless there are links directly to the other versions Google doesn't even know the domains exist.

No search engine could be bothered by that. You can forward as many new domains to your money site as possible and nothing will happen. And as SEO-Dave stated, Google probably doesn't even know about the domains you forwarded.

Thanks for the info. I thought I'd be better safe than sorry and find out the facts.
