Hi,
I am totally new to this forum.
I have recently become an affiliate for an online pharmacy.
I have a friend who is helping me out in optimizing the site, though he doesnt give me much information.

A lot of directory submissions, bookmarking is happening but am not seeing results. The site is brand new, just registered 15 days ago.

So far, we have not been ranked. Averaging about 20-70 visitors per day, but they come onto the homepage and dont really explore the site.

Till now, no one has visited the check out page for any medication.

I dont have any advertisements on the site. (the site was prepared by the main site owner).

Key words that we are trying to optimize are the main keywords that would go with any online pharmacy.

Please advise on the approach that should be taken and views on these type of affiliate marketing. Is it profitable? is it possible to earn some money at all? Id be happy earning $10 a day.

Would appreciate all the help i can get.

Thanks

What medicines are you targeting? ALL medicines? If so, I don't see that as an effective strategy.

Well, the site sells over 250 variants of medicines.
I'm not sure what to target. Actual medicine names or should i be targetting words like "online pharmacy" or "generic drugs" etc...

I might try for a different affiliate program.
There are a gazillion online pharmacy affiliates
that you would be competing with. You actually
might turn the site into a semi-blog/article site.
Write articles on one or two related topics
regularly and spot light just a handful of popular
drugs. In other words, funnel your blog traffic to
your pharmacy site. Realize too that online pharmacies
have a bad rep in the United States and are strictly
controlled by the feds and states as to how to set
one up legally. I would make sure that the owner is
all legit. Unless of course you are not located nor
marketing to the US. If your program does not require
a membership signup (free) and one does not need a
prescription, then it is not a legit pharmacy for
customers in the US. Granted, I am sure there are many
that buy and sell on a daily basis without following
state and fed rules, but I always tell people to sell
themselves, not someone else's product. You want
to stay within the rules or you are bound to get into
trouble. Just my 2 cents. That's all it's worth. You
need to do what works for you and many people may
disagree with me. But the blog tip is one you should
      consider.
