Someone help me solve this
I keep getting the following error on ALL of my gsa campaigns

ExampleEmail@yahoo.com POP3 Login Failed -- ERR [SYS/TEMP] Internal server error

This recently started happending to me a few days ago. These emails
were working completely fine until now. Is it the emails or a setting in gsa
that I should play around with?

I purchased my emails from the source that gsa recommends.

How about telling us what gsa is? Not everybody is a mind reader, you know.

Try logging into the emails manually and see if they still work. My guess is they were deleted because they detected your spam activity.

If you are going to use something like GSA, Yahoo and Gmail are bad ideas for email unless you are going to constantly replace the emails.

Buy 1000. Toss 25 into each project. Rotate them as needed. They will die quickly.

If Yahoo And Gmail emails are not good for GSA, what email do you recommend I use for GSA? Or should I just continue to replace with new purchased emails everytime I get this error?

Create your own emails with your own domains.

        myemail@somedomain.com

Or buy a few thousand Yahoo or Hotmail emails, throw 25 or so into each project, and then replace them when they die.

Due to the login fail, your emails have probably been temporarily blocked.

This is common and why you have to buy new email lists for GSA every so often.

Do you know how long this temporary block lasts? Its been about 5 days now. Do you think I should just purchase a new set of emails wheneber I get this error? Thanks.

It's not temporary. Yahoo does not like spammers. The emails are dead.

        I just noticed your questions.

What I meant by temporary is that you have to login and phone verify the account. Although, there is also the chance that they permanently blocked the account depending on the provider.

Either way, for the purposes of GSA, the emails are dead and you need to replace them with new ones for that project. I use 10 per project and replace them when they are blocked.

So yes, you will have to buy new emails every so often. How long they last varies. I always set the "Time to wait between two logins" option to 900 seconds and that seems to help. Also keep in mind that free email providers change their filters from time to time. For instance, Hotmail/Outlook use to be a good one to use but now their filters are much more strict.

If you go the domain and hosting route as others have mentioned, just keep in mind that spam complaints may be sent to the hosting provider or domain registrar. So don't use a hosting provider where you have sites hosted on the account as well because there is the chance that they could close the account down.

With that being said, the domain and hosting route is the better and cheaper long-term solution if you're a heavy user of GSA.

  • Better is to use email from your domain or purchase few domain and create domain based email IDs and use them. Else you need to minimize your quota of sending mail. Otherwise all those will be counted as spam one.

I recommend not to use Yahoo mails for GSA, I am not satisfied with these from my own experience. Rather I use nokia mail, AOL etc and they works greatly, success rate is also high.
