For those of you out there with more than one Adwords account and think it's OK, you may want to read this thread on another forum:

In short, Google found out this guy had two accounts and shut both of them down. Is Google clamping down on multi-account abusers or was this guy just unlucky? The TOS does say you can have only one so the moral is, violate it at your own risk.

You can have multiple accounts as long as you use "My Client Center" to maintin them. If you have multiple accounts because you want to dominate a keyword, don't to it. They'll eventually figure it out and ban you.

A My Client Center account is meant for account managers like myself who manage accounts for clients. The MCC makes it easier to manage many accounts and run reports across all accounts at the same time instead of logging in to each separate account.

I don't see many reasons to have an MCC to manage your own accounts, not those of others, because quite frankly as I don't see many reasons to have multiple accounts. But if it is allowed, as Kirk says, don't use them to try to con the system and dominate a niche.

Correct, MCC is set up for professionals to manage CLIENT accounts, not several of their OWN accounts. I would take caution in setting up multiple accounts for a single entity, even if you have MCC set up. Google's answer about multiple accounts seems pretty straightforward:
