Will Google index keywords properly in a page title that use asterisks? For example:

marriage* valid* in Texas

Will both words marriage and valid be indexed properly?

Make a webpage & find out.

It takes all of 30 seconds to Fetch as Google in WMT.

There is no reason to put an asterisk or other nonsense symbols on your title,
      headings, etc.

They are meaningless. It could actually signal to google that you want your
title to stick out more in SERPs. In other words, trying to game a visitor.

Not a good practice. Google just might, (might) consider your page spam.

Of course they could index it, but will they show it? In rare cases, I assume so.

For the average person not writing a page about "*" there is no need for it.

Since Google looks at it as a wildcard...I don't think so. If you find out otherwise, please report back.
