Site Statistics (Google Analytics Vs Wordpress Stats)

Hello Friends,

In Google analytics the number of pageviews shown is more than the pageviews of Wordpress stats. But GA shows less number of users then WP Stats.
Both stats reports shows different numbers of pageviews and users.

I am confused that which one is correct.

If you have any idea about this problem please share and suggest some solution.

Probably GA filters out more number of bots (IPs) and that why you see less users. And for page views (say you refresh a page) this may be treated differently (as 2 page visits or single one) by the two trackers.

I'd trust Google Analytics more than Wordpress stats. They will likely do a better job of filtering things like bots, proxies, and other fake traffic.

GA is more traffic and visitor show then you are all report you are see easily.

Well, to be hones with you, I trust WP stats because it records the actual number of page views not accidental ones. Remember, it's installed in your WordPress dashboard. So I think it displays more accurate data than GA.

Nevertheless, I use GA a lot and it's been my primary analytic tool. But when it comes to my blog stats, man, I tend to favor WP stats.

My opinion anyways.
