Sitelinks: did Google change the code again?

Hi all,
Did Google create a new incarnation of their code again?
My site had sitelinks when doing a search on my company name
I liked the look.
A colleague of mine had a number of sitelinks as well.
As of yesterday, my colleague's sitelinks has been reduced to 2.
Mine are gone (after being there for over a year)
Sooo - did something change? Is there something else I can do to get my sitelinks back?

ETA : I forgot to mention that I did remove a page. Also, in the past, there were times when the sitelinks were there, then gone, then popped up again - at first I thought it was because I had added/removed/changed pages. But - after a day, they (sitelinks) would always return
