Does google plus helps in seo for a website or blog? What has been your experience with it?

    According to some studies, there is a correlation between the use of Google + and better rankings, but,of course, can't be proven. Google says it doesn't help, but I am not sure if they would lie or not.

    In conclusion: better spend your time in things that really help like backlinks.

    Google plus helps in SEO as for my blogs and websites. No matter what they belongs, but we will be getting a dofollow link on Google plus page. I am seeing increase in Serp position from past few months by getting more followers on Google plus.

    Anyway it all depends upon us the way we do, my suggestion try by yourself and post here how it working.

    The reason Google+ is good for SEO is that the first link added to a Google+ page post is a DoFollow link, which means it passes link equity, or link juice, on to the website you share. If you’re sharing your website, you’re getting the link juice.


    DoFollow links are a core building block of SEO. They work in conjunction with PageRank, TrustRank and link context to determine how you rank for specific keywords.

    Helps with local listings if you have a physical address. Outside of that I don't think it helps much (or at all) in terms of SEO.

    A crappy product or service by people that disappear from the forum for a long period of time to make it look like they were working on something so when they come back you will want to click on their crappy product or service link

    there are 2 things i have seen while using G+

    1. my Webpages ( newly added ) get crawled quicker after sharing on my profile , G+ Page , i first share on Facebook , result no index,

    then on twitter = No index

    then i Share on G+ , Booooooooooom , it get indexed quicker then ever.

    Links from G+ are counted on GWT Tool , it shows that how many links we are getting from g+ , Google never tell if that is good for SEO or not , as they not so because then people in SEO industry will spam that guideline , so they never tell . but its a big Correlation that using G+ help in getting good rank.

    If you are spending time on other Social media , then why not on G+ ?
