SEO question about page url

Hi,

Imagine I have a page where the keywords I want to rank for are "my page" and contained in my pages' url.

Which URL is best?
mysite.com/my-page
mysite.com/services/my-page

Or does it not matter?

    It likely doesn't matter much only going one level deep. If you were going multiple levels it could make more of a difference, but to have domain.com/page or domain.com/services/page I don't see making very much difference.

    I recommend you go with "mysite.com/my-page" because every page who close with the root domain that will good for SEO. If your URL is long, sometime Google didn't read them and avoid them to cache.

    It doesn't matter unless that you have these pages that goes under services category.
    If not, then don't bother. But I believe that as long as it is categorized correctly and cleanly, it is good to go.

    You can opt for any of the above format. It doesn't make any difference if you go one level deep.

    Thanks for the help. I will have a lot of pages under these pages too, for example:

    domain.co.uk/mypage/anotherpage

    These pages are also important so I guess it may be good that they are now only 2 levels deep instead of three?

    ^ Yes. It's the same thing as above, you're not going in to deep with the levels so you should be fine.

    It does not matter at all to go with one level deep. But as you have said "mypage" also contains so many page, then it is better to avoid the services category.
