Hi,

I am just launching a new comparison website on the dutch market. I have often heard in IM circle's that, when start to optimize a new website, you can't take the linkbuilding to quick in the beginning. (not more then 1 link a day). This would hurt your rankings.

Now the issue is as followed. My site is between 6000 and 7000 pages so to get them all indexed quite fast I am going to need quite some PR, and quite a few links to my site. The market is not hugely competitive (for the average search term between a 250 & 500 allintitle's), so could I go ahead and starting building links more quickly(aquire more links a day)? So that all my pages get indexed. Or is this going to hurt my rankings, if I start linkbuilding to quickly?

Thanks for your help.
Guido

I don't think that will hurt. Actually, I had launched a site and from 2nd day onwards, I used to get the backlinks and then get indexed after that, daily I used to get 20-30 links daily, For 2 months I used to get same amount links daily. Then I got good place on google. So, I dont think getting backlinks will be an issue.....
