I don't understand what you want to do.. Are these websites working? How is it possible to get a 404 error for a page with your submission in? Looks strange..

If you have submitted your website on social bookmarking websites and the link generated is showing 404 error then, may be it is not approved yet or it has been deleted by the website admin for any reason.

The reason why you are getting 404 error from those submission sites is because the submitted link is automatically deleted due to prohibitions and I would suggest not to bother with these low quality sites.

Refresh page,Clear browser’s cache and cookies,Check the URL,Scan for Malware,Contact the Webmaster and send a message or contact your hosting provider it may return 404 errors.

What the heck does any of this have to do with anything? Do you really scan for malware whenever you see a 404?

Your hosting provider will think that you're an idiot, politely tell you to get lost, and laugh behind your back for the most ludicrous request of the day.

I think 404 is not found error. Bookmarks on high PR website is not removed easily. Check their PA and PA while submission.

404 means page not found which then let you know that your website or specific page is not working. Try checking your list thoroughly and see you are typing the URLs exactly

Some bookmarking sites will delete your links submitted or the site may be expired so it shows 404 error it will happen when your url did not submitted properly like broken links for that purpose also it shows 404 error..

Thanks everybody for replying.. But I think nobody read my question carefully, just make an assumption in mind after reading first reply.

My query was that, I have huge data of high pr social bookmarking sites. But all of these are not cached in Google. So, simply I mean that is it beneficial to register there and bookmark my website? I haven't bookmarked my website there. I need your suggestion.

Your question made no sense. What and where was throwing a HTTP 404 at you? If that was not the case, why did you mention such a thing?

If you're trying to do SEO these bookmarking sites are probably quite useless. You're getting nofollow links that are buried somewhere deep in the site.

When you have collected these sites from somewhere else, haven't you seen the sites at that time. Or else they are all expired domains . Other wise why you will get 404 error.
Other thing might be happened is , you may not selected the right link from other sites .

Hi Everybody... Let me explain my question again..

I have a social bookmarking website which has PR-5 and giving do follow link. But the problem is that when I checked its cache date, I found that Google is not caching that site.

So, simply I mean that it this beneficial to bookmark my site on this type of social bookmarking site?

No, sites don't have Pagerank. See the page that your link would end up, estimate the authority of that page, and divide it by all links on the page (nofollow included). That's what you're getting.

I'm not quite sure about this, but there could be a number of reasons. Maybe the page in question didn't change? Maybe the site owners asked no index for some reason? Maybe the site has been recently working only intermittedly? You know, a bit hard to say anything without being able to take a peek.
