I used to Book Mark in many bookmark sites new postings of my blogs. Could this be considered as back links?

    Technically, yes. They're also crappy backlinks that aren't worth your trouble.

    The better way to use social bookmark sites is to find competitors' content.

    Reverse engineer their best content.

    Get backlinks by promoting to people that link to your competitor's best content.

    That's the best way to use bookmark sites-as SEO research resources.

    For backlinks? Not so much.

    The name of the game with SEO in 2015 is 'the harder it is to get, the better it is for your site's rankings'

    Social bookmarking sites provides do-follow links that's true but only a handful number of sites backlinks provide any link juice. They are only good for outreaching audience.

    Yes, it's considered a backlink. However, most bookmarking sites are well moderated so you need to make sure your posts are valuable to the audience to avoid posts being deleted.
