I have made a Blog and want to know that how much time will it take for ranking in Google first page and how can I check the current ranking and indexing of my Blog or Website made with WordPress?

I hope you will give me a detailed information and oblige.

    Just my own opinion based on testing, but I see new sites taking at least 6 months to really start ranking in any meaningful way. That is of course assuming your keyword research is spot on and you have a reasonable amount of links pointing to your content. I think gone are the days where you could put up a site and rank within a month.

    I should also mention that the "first page" might not be in your future unless you really have your site firing on all cylinders.

    Seriously, nobody knows how long does it take to rank, the only thing that we can do is to post in a much better way so that we can get better result as soon as possible. Still I would like to share few important tips so it helps you i.e, use unique content, post it in high PR sites etc.

        It's a common misconception. PR means Pagerank, so it does not apply to whole sites. Probably refers to the front page having high PR, but such sites seldom allow links on that authoritative front page. The expression is very misleading, and it's the kind of language that scammers often use.

        PR was also last updated in late 2013, and it might never get updated again. Do not trust the numbers.

        No, you're confusing ranking with indexing. Google is usually pretty quick at the latter, but the former depends on your site and backlinks.

    For new sites, it may take a while for your site to come into the SERPs if it is already not ranking (this goes for all new websites building links for the first time). Make sure you nail your onpage seo and then build links from authority sites (you need to balance power with trust).

    It will depend on many, many factors. For instance, it will depend on how competitive the keywords are that you are trying to rank for, etc. For indexing specs, use Google Analytics.
