https instead of http in google (Shopify Store)

Hi! When I type my product names in google, some of results appears starting with https:// and when I clicking on these links, google says "Your connection is not private".
Shopify support advised to do this:

Now I concerned - will this affect on the ranking?

    It's pretty hard to say for sure, but that doesn't seem like a major change to me.

    If it's feasible, move the whole site behind HTTPS. It's a ranking signal for Google. If you can do that, just redirect the unencrypted connections to HTTPS.
