What to do when google is indexing another page instead?

I rank #7 on the first page for an important keyword phrase. The problem is, Google is ranking a different page of mine with an only slightly similar keyword.

How do I get Google to index the page I want to for this keyword phrase without deleting the page that Google has already indexed?

You can attempt doing that by having Google accessing the page you want through the webmasters tool and having them checking the page by entering that specific URL you want to have showing. Keep in mind that the other web page that you wanted to replace may still show there so I'd suggest too to check what keywords were used for that page.

Try adding a one-way keyword anchor-text internal link on the page currently ranked pointing to the 2nd internal page on the same domain that you want ranked.

After you build the internal link go to Webmaster Tools & Fetch as Google for the currently ranked URL/page so Google will find the new link ASAP.
