Let say you and your competitors use the same keywords in google.

than who will get rank?

now break down to these ?

both sites use the same keywords , Ok

the system will check which sites :

their backlink is good
their page rank
their contents quality

etc etc ?

is this how Google will rank a site to first page while been search ?

      Google will check all aspect of the websites linking and content too.
      If two websites have same keywords It will first check the quality and relevancy of published content. Quality content is the most important factor for search engine rankings. Keyword can be same in more than one or two website main part is content it can not be similar different website.

      Second most important factor is quality back links.

      Mainly ranking depend on these factor only.
