How does using "Rich Snippet" increase ranking?? The plugin claims to "Boost CTR and Improve SEO & Rankings".

      "all in one Schema.org Rich Snippets" Used to add photos, star ratings, price, author, etc., to the description snippet that google displays. I just don't understand how it helps your ranking. That's what the description of the plugin states anyway.

    Probably doesn't have that much to do with rankings in most cases.

    You're basically telling Google what your page is specifically dealing with. For example, if it's a product page you'd be specifying attributes, price, product image, and review stars in a way that's easier to parse. If you're running a company, you could mark your address and contact info. Or, you know, check Yukon's link.

    Google might use this data, or they might not.
