Google Tag manager is on fantastic thing, it saves a lot time for different projects, especially for us PPC people, you know, waiting for someone to add Remarketing tag on the website for 5 days.

Its basically thing that allows us to add/change Google Adwords, Analytics and other tags without need to log in into website backend or change files directly. It saves time when its implemented correctly.

Anyway here is the official page Google Tag Manager official website

Google Tag Manager allows you to conveniently manage tags (such as tracking and marketing optimization JavaScript tags) on your site. You can add and update AdWords, Google Analytics, Floodlight and non-Google tags from the Google Tag Manager user interface instead of editing site code. This reduces errors, frees you from having to involve a webmaster, and allows you to quickly deploy tags on your site.

You can install GTM's container in your site's code once, and then you'll be able to add a lot of other codes (tags) into your site through GTM interface without editing the codes on the site.

    Something like that. )

Google Tag Manager is a solution for marketers to manage website tags, from one interface. The tag manager tool itself (which deploys the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personally identifiable information.

Google Tag Manager, otherwise called GTM, is a free compartment label framework from Google. A holder label helps you oversee various types of labels that you may have on your site. This incorporate web examination labels, promoting transformation labels, general JavaScript, and so forth.

Google Tag manager was created to make it easier for marketers and their teams to add/edit/remove website tags without the help of a web developer. This includes conversion tracking, site analytics, re-marketing, event tracking, and more. While it isn’t a new feature from Google, it is something you should learn to use.

I too, have set up Google Tag Manager in my "header.php" and currently launched 2 separate tags but did not activate / fire them yet because I am at a standstill-road block. I need to find out how to set up a "message" in my variable data layer sewttings. If someone has experience in this, please let me know here. I have scoursed the web looking for a specific set of instructions but nothing. If you have experience in setting up a "message" in your Google Tag Manager, let me know. I will attach a couple screen shots to show where I am right now - THANK YOU
