    Submit into business websites like Yelp, Manta, and Yellowpages for one. You can also make sure you're listed on Google Maps and in major directories like DMOZ and Yahoos Directory. You should also make pages on your site and SEO them for local cities and your services.. for example: domain.com/dallas-carpet-cleaning.. domain.com/fort-worth-carpet-cleaning..etc.

      Use all the above and also use geographical targeting in Bing WMT and GMT.

    Find the local business directories and submit your site in to them. Change preferred location on Google webmaster tools and Bing webmaster tools.

    The Yelp idea is a great one. I dont think just submitting on there is the end of it. You have to use it socially. Make friends on there and write reviews for other businesses in your target area. A bit time consuming, but you can always get some help with that. Take care.

    You can target your local directories and local bookmarkings by adding your business directly onto the sites, also once submitted you cannot just add them on there and leave the sites your need to be social on the sites to by making friends and continuing to post and respond to comments on your post.
