What is Backlink and type of backlinks

I know you guys really like to circle jerk here, but please stop repeating the stupid crap that the first commenter says. There's no such thing as "dofollow backlink". There's rel=nofollow, and then there's the links that don't have that parameter.

Back link is a link which comes from another website where we use to submit through different off page seo. The types of backlink is dofollow either it may be nofollow..

I think you should not focus on Back Links much, spread your words around the internet in relevant target and you will get back links automatically.. think about getting traffic naturally.. backlinks will come automatically..

Make sure you website is in Google Webmaster so you can study where the back links are coming from

The link that point back to your website.
In other words inbound links, are incoming links to a web page or the entire website.
Types of back links can be
1. Reciprocal linking : two web pages agree to link to each other.
2. No Follow : Not crawled by search engines.
3. Do Follow : Crawl and Indexed by search engines.

There are many types of links that are coming to your website through Articles, Blogs, Blog comments, Social bookmarks sites etc. These are the link building strategies.

In terms of Search Engine Optimization(SEO) backlink is the hyperlink that links from a webpage, back to your own webpage or website.

There are basically two types of Backlink:-

Dofollow:The purpose of dofollow link is to adding value to your webpage and get potential traffic to your website.
