Try to say away from Fiverr gigs that use software GSA, etc .. there are some good gigs on Fiverr but i wouldn't rely on them to rank you .. Just use them as a base for your anchor text then come in with some more powerful links

I'm wondering if you're just pulling our leg here. You know, someone mentions GSA and suddenly you've got 10k GSA links...

But yes, this sounds like a recipe for a disaster. It's very hard to say if it's going to hurt you or not, or when it's going to happen. I would not want to work on a domain with this kind of time bomb in the backlink profile.

The good thing about that .edu and .gov gig was that there's less links in it, and therefore it's somewhat less likely to burn you. Just dropping those domain extensions as a selling point is a common scam tactic, because they don't actually have any effect.

Well, you now know better. Burning one domain isn't such a high price to pay, and you can probably reuse the content or even the whole site. If the site is new and not that important, you could use it as an interesting test lab.

Have you connected the site to Google Webmaster Tools? That's where you see if Google considers your backlinks spammy.

This is good advice. But you can go even further if you are really interested in SEO. Build 10 webistes for example, put them in different hosting accounts, etc and experiment with them separately. You 'll be amazed at the things you can find out by doing things yourself. You'll see which kind of theory is really true and which is not. Of course this may only help you to solve a fraction of all SEO secrets. We would need hundreds of sites (of different qualities, themes, etc) to really test all factors of Google's algorithm.

Nevertheless, it's interesting to experiment on a few things and see how true is what most people say. You'll be amazed.

According to me making theme based free back links are enough to get rank your site. At present time website should be responsive user friendly as well as mobile friendly because people are searching more queries on mobile than computer.

Content is the main part for a website after design, nobody have time to read an essay on the site today, user are looking for brief and meaningful description.
As per my experience paid links are not so good.

    Don't use fiverr.
Always think: how can they provide a quality service for 5 bucks.
Would you build 160 links for someone and charge 5 bucks.

They're probably using automated tools, that will hurt your rankings, if not now, then in some future google update.

Buying backlinks is considered as a method of black hat seo, you did a mistake from buying links, it might hurt your rankings.

Good backlinks require much time and effort. 10 000 cheap backlinks are not good backlinks, that seems logical, no?

If the spammers use their own properties, it might be possible to cancel. Of course they're going to be asking for a hefty fee. If it's just your average spam, no cancel button there.

Disavow tool sort of helps, but if you've got 10K links it's going to take considerable time to undo the damage. If it's even possible.

Have you tried googling? It's Google's tool, they've documented it way better than what anyone will be posting on this forum.

But the point remains: it's not exactly the quickest thing to disavow a huge number of links, and it's possible that Google still sees links that you don't even know exist.

Yes. My manager is lazy and keeps forgetting to make Webmaster work for us. So is there another tool / SaaS? preferably free, that shows the bad links that may cause a penalty?
