Many want to know how to rank a website fast but go in the wrong direction because of the need for results as soon as possible. An example would be buying links. Truth is you are going to need links to help get index fast but you do not have to do that. I can understand the many frustrations so I took a little time to find out how to do this the right way. I want to share a little knowledge with the warriors here who may be looking for a fast approach to ranking their site. You are going to need a little competition keyword, consistency, and patience.


The Keyword
There are so many keywords out there that everyone can have a slice of the pie. I think that the problem is people go after the most broadest of keywords that they leave so many under the table. If you focus on a single keyword you could get ranked for many in the long term. So why complicate the process? I recommend finding a low competition keyword that get a good amount of searches a month. You can find out the competition of a keyword by typing it into the google search egine and then place quotations around it and press enter and go to the last page in google. There you get the competition. For the searches you can use the google keyword tool. So no excuses to finding either.


Consistency
If you are not going to create new content on the daily on your website then you and google are going to have problems is what everyone says. I think that once you get placement for a keyword your rankings will stay around the same spot for months to years if you are lucky. I have a older site that does not lose rankings. It may have loss a couple spots through the years but it still remained on the first page. So my verdict is stay consistent in the beginning it will pay off well later.


Patience
You are going to have to have patience with any site. You are going to have to put in a lot of work as well. There are no short cuts but you can learn to become faster at what you do. Right? Heck yes!


Could there really be a fast way to rank your site?
Well there is depending on the competition for the keyword you want to rank. You could get rankings within a month doing little to no work and not spending to much money if not any doing so. If you are going after a really competitive keyword then it could take months to a year or even more. How would I know? I know because I put in the work! So I can warn you if you want to do it on your own. It should not take long for your website to get traffic after you create it either.

I would rather have highly targeted quality traffic over quantity. This way you can make some of your money back within a month and it can only increase afterwards.
