When getting into the SEO world what do you recommend as a minimum amount of cash on hand to purchase with and get started up with reasonable results?

    I totally depends on your target. For some, a small amount is sufficient, for others, you'll need more. There's no "recommended" amount, and if anyone offers you one based on the information in your post, they're shooting completely from the hip and doing you a disservice.

    It will vary. It would like to do the seo work by yourself then it would be free. And if you would like to opt for adwords campaign and hire somebody to do some work for you then it wont be free. For different work the amount is different and nobody can tell you the exact amount.

    Thanks for that information. What I am trying to figure out is really how much money I need to have at hand before I get started on anything. I don't want to try to start something and not have the funds to get going. I'm doing a simple niche on a WP I think it is unique but I could be wrong.

    I've not yet gotten started but from the research I've done thus far things are going about 75¢ per click on bid. I plan to bid around $1- $1.25 if all goes as planned? Any tips from that?

    I'm not expecting a precise figure, just something remote. Ballpark figure I suppose. I have 5 keywords in mind, each I am willing to bid maximum $1.50 per click I guess, how many clicks do I need to reserve funds for or how many click do you recommend ? I have no clue where to start?

      How much traffic does each of your kw phrases get? That has a bearing on it. How much time do you plan to run the campaigns? A week? A month? Are they planned end or open-ended?

      If I don't have completely information to work with, but you want some kind of totally wide open ballpark figure, and you plan to pay $1.50 per click, then I would say you should budget $3,000 for the first month.
