Losing Traffic

From last 3-4 week my website's continuously loosing traffic. But still my ranking is on #1. I don't understand what's happening over there! Warriors help me please.

    If you are on 1st rank then how is it possible. You just cross check the ranking of your all pages .

      I have targeted 4 keywords with 4 webpages of my website. All are on #1. Its a local site named chicagotaxlawyerfirm.com . Can you please help me to figure out that why this happening?

    There could be several different explanations:
    1. You are not really #1. It is difficult to talk about being #1 always as different users can get different results in the same minute due to the data Google has about us. If you want a more in-detail overview of your real rankings though, Check Google Webmaster tools.
    2. Traffic for your keywords is declining. It could be your service is being replaced by others. Industry moves!
    3. Your keywords have a seasonal aspect, so they are lower in some dates.

      I have checked using Google Webmaster & Analytic Tool, different kind of rank tracking tool, even normal search on google, using different IP, ask friends to check from their PC. Everywhere I got same results. Keywords are on #1.

    You please check the rankings firstly. Also, please check in google analytics from which country this traffic is dropped. Then, check which sources are having drop in traffic.

    Do you remember, if you have done any change recently? Or any change in strategy for those sources?

    Please check this, and do let me know about this, so that i can further check.

      I can remember, there's one changes made. I have transferred website from HTTP to HTTPS version. And after that I have focused national keywords. Like previously, I had targeted "Chicago tax lawyer" and before 1 month I had targeted "tax lawyer" and started SEO. After this, traffic start to drop and still dropping.

        It's very hard to understand anything from these descriptions. What are you ranking for, "chicago tax lawyer" (without quotation marks of course)? Have you changed the content that was ranking?

        What do you mean by "traffic start to drop"? What are you comparing to? What level of visits we're talking about here?

        Did you change your webmaster account to show the traffic for the https traffic? You haven't lost traffic, GW is just giving you the data you re asking it to give you ( http )

    I'm not sure about you, but we have this yearly event called "summer" going on. People might not search for the same stuff that they usually do. Could this explain your situation?

    You can use a different browser for checking the ranking of all keywords and then clean cache and history. After that, check your website ranking for all keywords. If you get the same results, then it is a problem of your browser. If not, then it may be some other problem on the website.

    What is your main traffic source? It is Direct, referral or organic
    I think your traffics comming from spam referral sites.Sometimes Google Analytics automatically ignore some referral traffics after that most of them think lose their traffic.

    There are a few steps you can take:

    Log out of your Google account
    Use the "&pws=0" parameter to shut off (some) personalization
    Use a different browser (that you don't normally use)
    Use a 3rd-party rank-tracker, like our own Rank Tracker

    Same thing happened with me I change my hosting after that I am still on page 1 but can't get traffic. I check my google webmaster tool I see 22 url blocked in google webmaster don't know why these are blocked by google any one tell me ?
