You should submit only ONE article per submission site. If you attempt to do so in multiple sites, Google is going to realize that there is content duplication and will likely penalize you.

What if you want traffic and backlinks and don't care about duplicate content?

Give the OP the full reason, or he/she will be back with the same question.

You should submit 1 article in one high PR site .If you submit i article in many sites so Google consider duplicate content ...once the article published so you can Generate back links from this URL...

Only one article is submitted in one article submission website. Here are the few high articles submission websites are enzinearticles, hubpages, articlebase etc are the best website to submit articles.

One quality content article per one site. You should not submit it to too many sites. It may be the case of duplication. Also, do not spin your content to submit in other websites.

You can submit it to various sites but you should restrict the number to few to get better results. Also submit your articles to high PR and high authority sites.

One of course. Submitting the same article on many sites is considered as the duplicate content by search engines and this is not liked by the search engines. Duplicate content does harm when it is duplicated inside your site. When webmasters consider article from sites like Ezinearticles it may cause duplicated on more sites.

So what if it's duplicate content? What if your strategy is article marketing (as opposed to article directory marketing)?

You know, where you post articles (sometimes the same) on your site and on some other sites that get lots of visitors like the ones you're looking for?

I know this is the SEO forum, but SEO is not the only way to get people to see your offer!

What are you asking? You still not know about Google's guidelines and updates. They need only quality and unique article. So Please be aware of it. Or you will penalized by Google.

Try to avoid sharing same content on different sites as Google can penalize your site..You can copy some couple of lines from your site but try to use unique content.

No, Google will not penalize your site.

If your site has better SEO than the site you post the article from your site, your site wins.

If your site has worse SEO, your site loses. But not because Google penalizes you; because Google chooses to show the page that best matches its criteria.That IS NOT a penalty.

Of course, for a lot of people around here, their site is crap and the site they post their article on is crap too. So, neither page (on original site or site where article was reposted) gets any ranking, any traffic. So, people say, Google penalized me for duplicate content.

First, duplicate content across sites is more properly referred to as syndicated content.

Second, accurate thinking is important in marketing.

Third, regurgitating half-understood ideas is neither important nor useful, in marketing. Or, for that matter, life.
