Does Junk Files in server harms the websites?

Does Junk Files harms the websites and how to find and remove it.
In Server i am not able differentiate the junk file and my own file so how can i find and remove it.

    Depends on your definition of "junk files", but if you're talking about attack code or spam links the answer is yes.

    "How to remove" is very hard to answer because the question is so vague. If you're using a CMS, there might be a tool you could run to spot the modified files. If you're using a self-coded site you should know what goes where. If you're talking about a whole server then that's completely different kind of discussion.

    Of course, you should have backups of your site.

      In april my website ranking was around 10 million now it as dropped 30 million but my backlinks have been increased i dont know how to get it back to top
      I Feel its due to juck files my website ranking as gone down

        I have no idea what that means. Ranking in what? If you're talking about SEO search engine rankings are the only thing you should care about.
