I've got an invitation to submit an SEO proposal to a popular bilingual news portal. Although I've my strategy, It'll be an advantage of mine if I get some advice from here too.

Target Website Info:
1. Global Alexa rank below 8,000
2. Rank in Country below 50
3. Daily Avarage Visits 110K
4. Only 7.52% Of their traffic Came from Organic Search
5. Only 29.33% Of their traffic Came from Social Media

What are the most effective methods for boosting Alexa rank?

    Why in the world would you want to boost Alexa rank? Total waste of time.

    From the questions you are asking, I'm not sure you have any business submitting a proposal to do the work.

    If roughly 37% of their traffic is search + social they must be running massive PPC campaigns for 69K traffic per day.

    Hi Sohel,

    Alexa ranking gives no benefit to the customer. A lower ranking in alexa doesn't generate sales or traffic. (this only feeds their egos)

    Sounds like they are doing social right. So I would skip that.

    Rank in Country below 50 * - The are not even on the second page, aka, so they are getting no traffic. This is the area of most improvement, This is what I would focus on. Get them to the first page.

    Starter:
    - Do local citations
    - Create a PBN network (10 sites to start)
    - Power up their social profiles with PBNs and GSA links.
    - Check Page loading times.

    Advanced:
    - Take their 10 top profitable pages, and get them rank in the top 10.

    That's just a quick and basic overview.

      Thanks, spazz896 and xnice. I know that Alexa rank gives no benefit to the customer, but since it is a bilingual news portal, Alexa rank help them get more advertisement. And I don't think PBN is right for news portal. Anymore advice?

    I would only suggest you improve your domain trust because google give higher ranking to trusted domains.

    And the only way to improve domain trust is white hate SEO techniques. And quality back links will give you a higher trust.

    So focus on backlink and your site content quality and sharing.
