I have a PR5+ site,
If I get 75-100 backlinks from PR0,PR1,PR2, PR3 sites only (Mostly bookmarks), will that be an issue to my PR?

    Hi Amenda,

My advice to you would be to stop focusing on PR and pay attention to much more important factors. If you study a sampling of SERPs your will notice that they do not rank listed pages by PR. The most important factor is relevance.

If you examine your motive for seeking SERP ranking and find it to be a desire for targeted traffic, then traffic should become your focus.

First focus on your own page's relevance. Make sure that all on-page SEO factors are precisely relevant toward your targeted keyword.

Next, examine your internal link structure. Are you using every inline text link opportunity? Are you strategically linking out to highly relevant pages on authoratative websites?

Once you have your own website optimized you should then form a backlink strategy. Develop methods for finding highly relevant pages that have significant traffic. A backlink on a page that is rarely visited doesn't help you much, it's the pages's traffic that determines the potential value of a backlink.

Just as you must optimize your target page to be highly relevant for a keyword, your backlinks need to be optimized for that same keyword. Choose pages that contain your keywords in the page title and have significant traffic. Include your targeted keyword within the anchor text of your backlink.

If you follow this strategy it will help you a great deal in your quest for higher SERP rankings. Take note that PR is never a consideration while using this highly effective strategy.
