After doing everything i can to optimize for keywords, I am left with off page seo for my videos. What are people doing to build backlinks to their videos on youtube? Optimizing for keyword isn't enough I need a push on these videos to get higher ranks. how are people getting views, embeds and back links to get higher ranks?

    The best way to build backlinks to your youtube video is to subscribe for free to a word clould combinator account (there are 2 ou 3 on the market). Type you video title. Download the words list then go to Blackhatlinks. Buy 25 quality blog post for $5 and use the keyword list downloaded from the word cloud combinator for your anchor text.

    Then, you will get 25 backlings withing few days (this is enough) and the anchor text would be berfect.

    Don't buy more backlinks because your account could be banner.

    Personally, I don't think backlinks help on the video front nearly as much as they do elsewhere. I find that user metrics like the amount of time people spend on your channel and the % of people who watch the entire video, matter a whole lot more. It's not IMO, a system that's easy to game any longer on Youtube which is a good thing-at least in terms of competitive niche's

    Depends on the quality of the video. If it is actually a good, helpful or funny video. Social media is the way to go. Submit the video to anywhere and everywhere that is relevant to the subject it covers.
