Confused in using Geo Location tag with Geo Targeted Keywords ?

Hi i am confused between using Geo location meta tag with Geo Targeted Key Words.
Hi, i am thinking of using geolocation meta tag
" <meta name="geo.position" content="44.44; 55.67">
<meta name="geo.placename" content="New Delhi">
<meta name="geo.region" content="India">""
with mygeo targeted keywords say "nike shoes new delhi" , "buy nike shoes new delhi" and so on...
My queries are that,
If i use geo location meta tag with non-geo targeted meta tags "buy nike shoes" "nike shoes". so will i appear in search results if some one searches "buy nike shoes" from new delhi, or i have to use geo targeted keyword :"buy nike shoes new delhi" so as to appear in search results which are from new delhi location ?
Please, Suggest me some other SEO Practices too.
