      I think you didn't understand my question. I'm asking "where" (sites)
      not "what to do improve in order to get clients" etc.

    Mostly from partners, existing clients, web-based free-form networking, and live networking events. If that makes me sound like a some sort of crazy extroverted sales guy I can assure you that I'm the opposite of that.

    I'd avoid the likes of Odesk (too much noise, and tough price competition) or WF (too much BS and sleaze). Of course this depends on your product too.

    SEO is often very hard for a new company. I happened to start from a long-standing domain, but it's still not brought that much sales.
