Yes, but it does not bring a lot of value as dofollow

I think in my opinion nofollow has less to no value option as of the developments of the SEs recently...

There is no difference between nofollow and external nofollow, both have same working, only difference is whenever you encounter with rel="external nofollow" this tag opens links in a new window instead of the same window.

We all are usually obsessed with only getting dofollow links. Even though it does not bring a lot of value as dofollow, a nofollow link, which is from a strong site may actually pass value, so we should go and get it.

You need a balance between nofollow and dofollow links, so yes, it does hold value, but not in terms of 'link juice' that ups your rep.

There's no such thing as "external nofollow". The rel attribute just has two values here.

Nofollow means that the linking site asks Google to not pass any "juice" to the target page. It has no SEO value.

Well yeah, it's sort of possible that Google counts nofollow as something. Not according to most SEO practitioners or Google reps, but you can believe!

This is a speculative strategy that tries to balance spam links. Doesn't matter to most people, and might not work for anyone.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

No follow never passes the link juice. while do follow are much better. but no follow are good for existence not for SEO Specifically.

Yes. They are still useful... At least a pretty easy way to get a good mixture from DoFollow and Nofollow links!
