    Why a niche with low competition? Get a niche with high competition as everyone is in that market for a reason - I would rather be working in a billion dollar industry and taking a small %age than a tiny one. Think about it. What are you trying to achieve?

      You are right, it's logical to seek for bigger oportunities. However, it requires at least 5x time, knowledge and investments to reach your goals.

      Here's a short little plan of action for you:

      Google "low competition niches"
      Find one - stick to it
      Google "keyword research tool"
      Find one you like - use it
      Find about 3 keywords

      BOOM.

      Get to work.

      You should look into big niches (health, wealth, dating, Amazon products etc) that have lots of buyers and try to find low competition keywords within those niches. Believe me, low-competition keywords still exist....
