Bounce Rate too low... Please help.

Hi,

I started a wallpaper website 11 days back. Although unique visitors are not much, page views are quite impressive... The problem is with the Bounce Rate. Here are my Google Analytics results since the site was launched.

Unique Visitors: 179
Sessions: 247
Page Views: 2,733
Pages/Session: 11.06
Traffic from Germany, India, US.
Bounce Rate: 4.05%


I haven't installed any "Reduce Bounce Rate" plugin to this site. Alexa however shows the bounce rate around 18.50%.

As you can see the bounce rate is extremely low. What should I do in this situation. Is this normal? Please help...

    Reason is your google analytics code repeat in two places. Keep the code in HEAD part only.

    Have you installed something from Alexa to the site? If not, you should not rely on their scores.

    Your bounce rate seems abnormally low, but as others pointed out it's usually considered a good thing. If it's possible that there's problems with Analytics tracking code as jessikaload said you need to fix those ASAP.

    From the web marketing term "Bounce Rate" it means the percentage of the user who leaves the specific page or site. Which the lower rate the better, so I would say that its a good sign for your site because your audience stays longer in your page.

    Hi, firstly know what is bounce rate? I think you have no idea about bounce rate and you asked that. That's good. You should mind that the lower bounce rate the better. You are doing well!
