I like Keyword Researcher - I've been using it for several years now. I think it's similar to Long Tail Pro. I think both basically work off the Google autosuggest tool.

On the downside too many people are using these tools so everyone is writing articles based around these suggestions...

Why don't you want to use google keyword Planner?
Alternatevaly, when you type a keyword into Google at the bottom of the first page Google gives you a list of other search terms people are using to search for that keyword

Try out Ubersuggest if you are struggling with keywords search. Also, maybe, workstream's keyword tool, but I don't like it. People are telling the truth - Google keyword planner is the best.

No one here mentioned a tool called Spyfu. I believe it's a right tool for seeking for some nice keywords. Find your competitors and then analyse them just to know their sucess.
