Negative SEO

Hi All

Looking for some advice on what to do here

My key money site has been attacked with negative SEO. Adult keywords, viagra etc

Should I try and disavow all these links, build more brand links to counteract these or ignore?

    First things first: see that your site hasn't been compromised. Sometimes these backlinks come from spam hack attacks.

    You can try to use Google's disavow tool to tell them that you don't want the links.

    Now a days Negative SEO are widely used by the competitors to harm the ranking . In this case you can simply make the list of all bad quality link which are pointing towards your website and disavow them using Google webmaster disavow tool.

      I completely agree with you, because of huge competition competitors are attacking websites using Negative SEO.

      What we as a webmaster can do is simply Disavow such links and to come up with the quality of links to drop the ranking of low quality pages.

    You should disavow this type of links before that hurt your website ranking. Google webmaster tool will help you in this case.

    Google disavow but first set up Google Webmaster Tools email forwarding and update your profile to get emails when you have messages. I prefer weekly, but daily and monthly are choices as well. This will allow both engines to tell you immediately when they believe something is wrong with your site or if there're still bad links that need to be removed.

    Negative SEO are used to attempt the lower site ranking in search engines.They are widely used by the competitors to harm the ranking.but there are many other techniques that unscrupulous people can use and try to reduce your rankings.

    Definitely dont ignore, make it a point to disavow these links and start earning some high quality links, it looks easy on paper i know, but sweat + creativity thats whats going to get you on top and help you to stay there.

    Yes first double check that which backlink is useless for your website and hurting your web page and then disavow these backlinks from disavow google webmaster tool.
