Where to get good SEO services from

Dear Warriors,

I want to get SEO done for one of my websites. It is doing well on Bing and Yahoo, but not so good on Google. I want someone who genuinely knows about SEO. But I see that most of the "experts" are using age-old techniques, which Google had discarded long back! One of the SEO experts whose services I was using has been banned from this forum!

My website was receiving very good traffic until Jan-Feb, 2015, when the traffic plummeted within a month's time. I had requested Google to remove some irrelevant back links. It is a very good informational website. I can send its URL in your inbox if you like.

Please can you suggest a good SEO service provider here or one whose services you have used and who has shown proven results.

      Come to this forum on warriorforum and look at the forum sigs from all the Indian SEO companies. That is the very best place to get SEO.

      You can witness first hand how good many of them are just by the quesions they ask.

      For instance they'll ask how to use an SEO technique or rank something. Meanwhile, in their signature they offer to sell you SEO.

      Ok, on a more serious note. Ask for case studies and references. If they can't provide those, move on.

        As a person who is probably one of those people who you are describing, I do tend to ask many questions. I do not believe that there are "experts" in SEO but we simply describe some people as experts because they have demonstrated enough skills that they can simply perform a lot better than most people can in SEO. SEO changes everyday. If you don't keep on learning or asking questions or reading articles, you will fall behind. There are some who do not ask many questions and simply spend most of their time reading and testing because they have the resources available. Others do not.

        Your website could have been hit by an algorithm. Could be not enough content, over stuffed content, bad backlinks, not enough backlinks, bad meta tags.....could be a variety of things.

        Send me your URL and I can take a look. I have fun looking at different websites. Some websites are easier than others to analyze.
