Anyone seeing big changes in traffic today?

Some of my sites are showing big traffic differences from the norm today, but my SERP results have not changed. It is the first of the month and I'm wondering if google is doing some algorithm changes.

    I didn't see any official news from Google, Cutt doesnot tweeted anything related to SEO. Even SearchEngineLand and Moz doesn't has a BIG SEO titles in their blog today.

    What happens to your traffic? Raised/Dropped?

      Dropped on several sites even though the SERP results remain the same. Also seeing what is normally my top competitor on some keywords drop to the bottom of the first page. I use my own SERP checking tool which is anonymous and uses proxies but have also had some friends check from their browsers. Same results.

    Yes, yes I am!! I have 50% drop in traffic

    (I usually have 2 visitors from Google and today I have one!! I think there is a penalization going on)

      I looked at Google analytics, and the drop happened for me around 3am yesterday, just after the start of October on the west coast. It still down today. Traffic is down almost 50% but rankings have not changed at all.

      Very confused.
