Hello, fellow warriors,

I have a blog wmtechie.com which is almost 6 months old but doesn't have any moz rank yet. when I check my site in Google webmasters tools it displays almost 2.5k backlinks. But moz shows only few's.

I really don't understand the reason behind this. My blog also perform well in Google on various keywords. Any ideas or suggestions will be highly appreciable.

Why do you care? MozRank does not improve your rankings or bring you more traffic. If you site is performing well in Google, as you say, it does not matter what Moz has to say about it?

Thanks man! Yes, My site perform well in Google and I almost get 500 to 1000 Visitors daily. However I heard that Moz rank is one of the important factor in SEO world.

You should stop listening to whoever you are listening to then. It is a 3rd party metric. It does not impact your rankings at all.

            It does not measure traffic.

It is based on links in the Moz database. It has nothing to do with how Google sees your site.

Just so you know, most of the large SEO sites are scratching moz's back & usually getting a kickback in return even If it's only a followed link.

              Read between the lines.

...and the moz database is a small percentage of live backlinks compared to Googles' database of links. Moz will never have the bankroll Google has to run server farms.

Why do you keep paying attention to this... You can have 10DA & 10PA, but if you are #1 in SE's, then everything is MUCH better!

The reason why I stopped looking and comparing on tools.
Google and Moz are different tools, so don't expect that the data it gives are relevant or close from each other. The only suggestion I can give is to either stick to one tool or don't depend on either. As long as you think you are improving your SEO efforts, nothing to worry about.
