    Web 2.0 sites may not give you much of a direct traffic. But is you use them for SEO, they will surely help your main site to get ranked.

    You shouldn't look at Web 2.0's as a traffic generator. You should look at them as a way to increase the links and authority coming into your site. Assuming it has lots of content that is good, those pages will start ranking from that juice and you'll start getting more search engine traffic from them.

    The key is to build some web 2.0 links and then focus on increasing links going to those. The more links you have going to the web 2.0 page - the more authority it will gain and then pass to your page. Consider building a small list of web 2.0 links and then use blog commenting and social bookmarking to quickly build a bunch of links to those web 2.0 pages.
