Would my website benefit any SEO or even Link Juice if I had a Blog on the Sub Domain of my site?

For example: I've put a Blog post on my sub domain, it gets backlinks. Will my main domain benefit from SEO rankings?

If anyone had any experience. Thanks!

    Yes, if you link from the sub-domain to the main domain. No, if you do not.

    The simple answer is, Yes. no matter if your blog is on a subdomain (blog.domain.com) or just in a sub-directory (domain.com/blog/) lots of pages can benefit from getting links going to the blog. Whatever pages are linked to from your blog page will get some of that juice. If you have a header on your blog that links to the homepage plus other pages then all of those will get some additional juice from it.
