you want to save the super epic articles for the top tier blogs right? no sense in wasting epic content on lower tier sites right? an ideal situation is that i get on as a contributor for a top blog. is it possible to be a contributor without a website.... even if you have ideal content to offer? i know that becoming a contributor is sort of a back door game and you have to do certain things to get in the door... lets say that I create a couple good articles on a top tier blog and on the third article i write an epic article with a casual backlink to my site. what if they remove the backlink to my site and think of it as spam? then all of that work was for absolutely nothing.
Also... if i shoot for a lower tier blog and submit my content and its very epic and they accept it, but they remove my backlink and publish the article. Then i'm out one of my epic articles and it doesnt even have a backlink..... lots of major work for nothing again.
long story short...... I have epic epic content that blogs would love and its ideal for me because i can casually backlink and build seo. how do i get this epic content out there and make sure that i get the most traction possible out of it?
I already tried this once as a buzzfeed community member. I wrote an insane epic article that was perfect for buzzfeed format. i made SURE that it was of buzzfeed's standard. I included a casual backlink only to find out that they auto insert no follow codes on all of their community articles. I was mad, but oh well... I could still get traffic from it. Submited the article and the buzzfeed page didn't get any traffic because nobody from buzzfeed even looked at it.
i've got epic content guys. i'm really frustrated with what to do.
