I tryin to rank a local site. The competition is quite low.

I've built some web 2.0s, pr links,.. to homepage.
And 1 PBN link to inner page.

Tumblr Gig (6 Links from PA 29+)

Tier 2 and Tier 3 drip feeding to the pr links over the next 40 days.

Silo structure (Home -> Top Page -> Inner pages)

Been a two weeks now.

Result:
Top page is starting to rank 30 - 80 for 6 keywords
But the inner pages are no where to be found yet.

**Inners have 500+ word content, video and images. but the top page only has one sentence with 6 links to each of the inner pages**

Side Note: The Facebook page with no links or anything is ranking on the 3rd page for a 3 of the keywords.

Should i see the inner pages start to rank soon, or did I do something wrong?

    • When did you start building followed links?
    • Is anything on the link list useful for SEO?

Not being able to see the link profile will only get you guesses here on the forum.

  • What are your targeted keywords? Keywords are local or national or global?

Its a local site and trying to rank for local keywords.

BTW 15,000 and 50,000 results in Google and top 10 have da around 15,
      Not competitive at all.

Started building links 2 weeks ago.

      Everything is indexed.

My top page which has only one sentence on it and links to my inner pages is ranking for the keywords for my inner pages.

But my inner pages are not ranking.

      Website is easy to crawl.
Home -- top page -- inners

Building back links to inners over next week. Hope they start at least showing up even in the hundreds.

      Quick question.
I used "in" and the "state" in my title and page to be able to rank for other longer tail terms.
But my keyword is "keyword city".
Could this be a problem or am I just overthinking it???

I have gone over onpage seo many times.

      So stressed out.

You over-think on some things. You under-think on some. All in all, quite balanced for now.

I mean, without some more useful clues like metrics and relevance of pages where your backlinks are, you will also just receive vague recommendations and won't know which is useful or which is not.

The link of great joy and happiness...but this one? This is the one that all window cleaning companies in the free world are inspired by. Hey, where did the sarcasm font go?

Local linkbuilding, start with URLs and continue with brand, than keywords.

Nothing you said you did says you did anything to deserve to rank.

      It's not hard.

Use keyword and related keywords in url, title, on the page, etc... On-page stuff, you know.

Link inner pages in a smart way... Random is not good. Silo is good... Linking pages by theme... all of them together.... (i.e., home insurance, best home insurance, condo insurance... each links to all the others).

      Build backlinks.
