Impression & Clicks Getting Down From Sep-2015

Hi All,

I am having an international e-commerce gemstone portal. Before the month of September-2015, I was getting good results with good clicks and Impression rate. But suddenly in September- 2015 & October-2015 when I saw Google Webmaster tool all Clicks and impressions gets down. I never saw anything like that. This is starting to make us a bit nervous. I don’t know if it’s happening in gemstone industry only.

    Have patience, to start with.. if the downfall continues, consider the possibility of your website being penalized. Try to see why, and fix the issues

    there are many reasons this could happen.

    For one, two months isn't a good gauge on if a trend is happening. It's good to use 4+ months of data to analyze trends.

    Secondly, this drop off isn't that great. I don't know what August and July numbers were like but you may be worrying about nothing.

    So the overall search impressions are down 3%, and clicks are down 5%? Some of the search stats have actually improved considerably.

    These variations are so small that they could be due to a measurement error. Most likely it's some kind of normal fluctuation.

      So you mean, its happening due to fluctuation only, it may be because I tried a lot to find a solid answer but couldn't get till now so I think I should wait for 1 or 2 months.
