Building Backlinks To Subdirectories?

Is it wise to build backlinks to subdirectories that use the anchor text of the keyword you are trying to rank the subdirectories for?

Also will it look unnatural if each of my subdirectories have more backlinks then my main index page?

    It is a good idea to yes link to sub folders on your site, then just the main domain... Deep linking can be very good if done right.

    Just be careful because Sandbox is also there and once you trapped there than it will take time to get out from there.

    So whatever backlinks you want to create, create it with moderate speed and never use auto service. I have burned my hand earlier

    Yeah its a good idea and important to do it, you want
    you entire site full of backlinks.

    I made a Golf sites and my subs got indexed before
    the main blog.
