Ok noob question,

while you write contents..and put links..link to other posts from your site.

is call inner links right?

OK here are the questions:

I check my competitors site. I noticed one never put inner links , linking within his site.
I check his ranking etc not bad.

I was thinking ....." it seem like don't put inner links inside your content is better? than putting? "

whereas some claim putting inner links , link to your other contents ( can reduce bounce rate as readers will stay on your site longer a bit )

That's called can't see the forest for the trees.

An expression used of someone who is too involved in the details of a problem to look at the situation as a whole: "The congressman became so involved in the wording of his bill that he couldn't see the forest for the trees; he did not realize that the bill could never pass."
Obviously a webpage can be ranked with 100% external backlinks.

Look at the BIG picture & be smarter than the competition, that's what SEO is about, outsmarting the competition (less resources, more rank).

No matter what you do, you will always need followed external links to rank a page, that's not optional, authority has to originate from somewhere on the web (authority links). The issue is most sites have more than one webpage they would like to rank so you take advantage of internal links + external (inbound) links. Internal links are the easiest way to take the external links & stretch them as far as they'll go by ranking multiple pages with the same external link profile.

Research silo structure for internal links, easy to setup and you have complete control over the situation so it's a no brainer. Do the easy stuff first (internal links).

Great post, but I don't believe you. I'm trying to rank on the keyword "volcano aliens in ohio" and I think I can do it without building any backlinks at all.

Note: jokes aside, nonexistent keywords like this are a great way to learn about onpage SEO. I've had a bunch of weebly accounts fighting over the top spot in an absolutely bizarre keyword for awhile now. Very informative

so summary is better to insert inner back links?

from other contents of your site?

but too much also do harm on your site right.

          The summary is, pay attention.

The screenshot below is two webpages from the same domain ranked for the same keyword. This is how internal links are useful.

So ask yourself, do you want to work for 20% of the search traffic (only external links & one ranked page) or do the same work for 30% of the same traffic (internal links) by having a higher CTR (two ranked internal pages).

Competition is stupid If they're not taking advantage of internal links.

When one page of your site is ranking and has a higher page rank or authority you can place a link (in the high ranking page) to a relevant post on your blog that is low in rankings. This will pass the link juice to the linked page and that page will start performing better. Yes, when a reader reads an article on your blog and finds a link that relates to a similar post, this will in turn lower your site’s bounce rates.

Hmm , that means link to relevant contents from my site to that content?

      or link to others?

in fact I check around those well ranking sites..they don't link out to other people websites.

is more within their own site.
