about the backlinks??

hello guys when i build the backlinks do i build one in general of the site or pages of certain

It depends completely on the structure of your website.

If it's a long sales page where most of the content and call to action are on the main page, you create the backlinks towards your main index page.

Otherwise you can have several secondary pages and optimize / build backlinks for them.

A third strategy would be not to focus on any page in particular (if you have many of them) and instead slowly create backlinks for all of your pages. This way your link structure is going to look much more natural.

Build the backlinks in authority sites related to your site's niche. Don't mess your backlink database with unwanted backlinks.

Backlink is a link one website gets from another website. Backlinks make a huge impact on a website's prominence in search engine results.

To build back links to your blog-
- Have fresh content so that every user loves to read it.
-Guest Posting
-Article Post
-Press Release
-Blog Commenting.

You can build back links in all the pages. It is better than building back links for only home page.

  IMHO if you build all of your links to homepage only then it will be unnatural linking. For natural look through random amount of backlinks to your deep pages along with homepage.

  OP, make a page for each keyword you want to rank for. Create backlinks to each page. If you have 4 keywords, you end up creating backlinks to 4 pages. 7 keywords, 7 pages.
  
  That's the easiest way. You can, of course, rank one page for more than 1 keyword...

  You definitely want links coming in to multiple different pages, though you'll want more links going to the pages you want ranked highest -- not just an equal number to each page.
  
  Then, watch Google Webmaster Tools to see what terms your site is ranking for, and for what terms, and then focus on the pages and keywords that you're already seeing some success with to push them higher in the search results.

Build backlinks from diverse sources like web 2.0s, .edus, profiles etc etc along with some high authority links. Try to build low quality links to deep pages of your site and high quality links to homepage.

Try to build back links as per you niche and do blog commenting, write guest posts, forums to gain do follow back links.
